PLACED ON 1ST READING & REFERRED TO THE RULES & <br /> ORDINANCES CMTE 2719/02. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 38-02 BY: Corrigan, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> George, Roth, Seelie, Skindell. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend section 537.055(a)(2)A, Menacing by Stalking, of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the Ci~ of Lakewood for the purpose of fu~her defining "pattern <br />of conduct" and ~ remain consistent with the Ohio Revised Code. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance is necessary for the public health, welfare and safety. <br />Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE Il' ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, S-FATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1. That section 537.055(a)(2)A, Menacing by Stalking, of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of LakewOOd currently reading as follows: <br />(a)... <br /> (1),.. <br /> (2)... <br /> A. <br /> <br />"Pattern of conduct" means two or more actions or incidents closely <br />related in time, whether or not there has been a prior conviction <br />based on any of those actions or incidents. <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />(1)... <br />(2)... <br /> A. <br /> <br />"Pattern of conduct" means two or more actions or incidents closely <br />related in time, whether or not there has been a p~rior conviction <br />based on any of those actions or incidents. Action~ or incidents that <br />prevent, obstruct, or delay the performance by a Public official, <br />firefighter, rescuer, or emergency medical services person of any <br />authorized act within the public official's, firefight?r's, rescuer's or <br />emergency medical services person's o <br /> <br /> Section 2.
