Placed on <br />2"d Reading 1/21/03.) <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8-03 <br /> <br />BY: CorrIsan, Dever, l)unn, FiCzGeraid, <br /> George, RoCh, Seelie. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing and directing the Mayor <br />(Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and the Director of Finance to <br />advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in <br />accordance with the AdminiStrative Code of the aty of Lakewood, for the purchase of <br />the listed vehicles and equipment, contracts not to ~ the specified amounts <br />shown without separate Resolution of Council. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Coundl by a vote of at least five (5) members elected <br />thereto determines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this <br />ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE ]:II, <br />SECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal <br />departments in that certain capital improvements projects are to be undertaken <br />beginning 3anuary 1, 2003 in accordance with the Capital Improvement Plan for fiscal <br />year 2003. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE TF ORDAINED BY THE CTrY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br /> <br /> Section 1.
