Section 2. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to enter into contracts as set forth above in amounts not to exceed the specified amounts without further action from Council; and to enter into contracts in excess of specified: amounts only upon consent of Council evidenced by adoption of a resolution specifying the authorized amount. Is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, and the Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the following vehicles and equipment, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown, except as hereinafter provided: Parks 4WD P/U with Plow/Drive on Rack $ 32,000 Mowers 10,000 Police Police Cruisers/Detective Cars 160,000 Refuse Refuse Vehicles 90,000 Hydraulic Lift 13,000 Replace Concrete Refuse Containers 15,000 Fleet Road Service Truck with Jib Crane 37,500 Housing Document Imaging System 60,000 Info Systems Document Imaging System 20,000 Citywide computer/network upgrade 86,400 Telephone Equipment 80,000 Streets 4WD Extended Cab with Plow 32,000 Fire Medical Squad 165,000 Breathing Air Equipment 26,000 Water Service Utility Body 6,000 Wastewater Col. 1 Ton Dump Body Truck 36,000 Wastewater Trmt Emergency Generator 18,000 Miscellaneous Equipment & Machinery 50,000 Parking Electronic Parking Meters 20,000 Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the .public in compliance with all legal requirements.
