Forest Road from Lake Road approximately 710 feet to the south cul-de-sac at Clifton Boulevard

<br />Clifton Boulevard by reconstruction and replacement of the base and resurfacing with an asphalt
<br />of overlay on a concrete base, including the necessary installation and replacement of curbs,
<br />aprons and sidewalks, together with ail necessary appurtenances thereto ($54,000); O) paying the
<br />property owners' portion, in anticipation of the collection of speciai assessments heretofore
<br />levied, of the cost of improving Indianola Avenue from Hilliard Boulevard to Riverside Drive by
<br />reconstruction and replacement of the base and resurfacing with reinforced concrete, including
<br />the necessary installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with all
<br />necessary appurtenances thereto ($80,000); (lc) paying the City's portion of the cost of improving
<br />lndianola Avenue from Hilliard Boulevard to Riverside Drive by reconstruction and replacement
<br />of the base and resurfacing with reinforced concrete, including the necessary installation and
<br />replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with ail necessary appurtenances thereto
<br />($320,000); (1) paying the property owner's portion of the collection of speciai assessments
<br />heretofore levied, of the cost of improving West Forest Drive from Lake Road southerly to a cul-
<br />de-sac by reconstruction and replacement of the base and resurfacing with reinforced concrete,
<br />including the necessary installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewaiks, together
<br />with ail necessary appurtenances thereto ($56,000); (m) paying the City's portion of the cost of
<br />improving West Forest Drive from Lake Road southerly to a cul-de-sac by reconstruction and
<br />replacement of the base and resurfacing with reinforced concrete, including the necessary
<br />installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with ail necessary
<br />appurtenances thereto ($224,000); (n) paying the property owners' portion, in anticipation of the
<br />collection of speeiai assessments heretofore levied, of the cost of improving Overbrook Avenue
<br />from Riverway to Indianola Avenue by reconstruction and replacement of the base and
<br />resurfacing with reinforced concrete, including the necessary installation and replacement of
<br />curbs, aprons and sidewalks, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto ($80,000); (o)
<br />paying the City's portion of the cost of improving Overbrook Avenue from Rivervvay to
<br />Indianola Avenue by reconstruction and replacement of the base and resurfacing with reinforced
<br />concrete, including the necessary installation and replacement of curbs, aprons and sidewalks,
<br />together with ail necessary appurtenances thereto ($320,000); (p) improving W. Clifton
<br />Boulevard and St: Charles Avenue by widening and providing additional on-street parking with
<br />concrete curbs ($175,000); (q) improving Hilliard Road and Lakewood Heights Boulevard by
<br />replacement of the base as required and resurfacing with asphalt, including replacement of curbs,
<br />aprons and sidewalks as required, together with all necessary appurtenances thereto ($200,000);
<br />(r) improving certain streets designated by Council by resurfacing, repairing curbs and
<br />improving traffic signaiization ($585,000); (s) acquiring police communication equipment
<br />($289,000); (t) renovating, furnishing and equipping munieipai buildings and improving sites
<br />($675,000); (u) improving parks ($190,000)~ (v) improving sanitary sewers and the City's
<br />wastewater treatment plant ($2,785,000) and (w) improving Hilliard Road by replacing sewers,
<br />together with any necessary appurtenances ($696,000).

<br /> SECTION 2. The Bonds shall be issued in one lot and notes not have been issued
<br />in anticipation of the Bonds. The Bonds may be issued in the denomination of $5,000 or any
<br />integral multiple of $5,000, but in no case as to a particular maturity date exceeding the principal
<br />mount maturing on that date. The Bonds shall be dated as determined by the Fiscai Officer, but
<br />no later than July 1, 2003.

<br /> ' The' Bonds shall bear interest at the rate or rates of interest (computed on a 360-
<br />day per year basis) as specified in a certificate of award which shail be signed by the Fiscai
<br />Officer and provide for the award of the Bonds in accordance with Section 5 of this ordinance
<br />(the "Certificate of Award"). Interest onthe Bonds shall be payable on semi-annually each year
<br />on dates determined by the Fiscal Officer (the "Interest Payment Dates')), commencing no later
<br />than December 1, 2003, until the principai mount has been paid or provided for. The Bonds of
<br />any one maturity shail bear the same rate of interest. A particular Bond shail bear interest from
<br />the most recent date to which interest has been paid or provided for or, if no interest has been
<br />paid or provided for, from their date. "Fiscai Officer" as used in this Ordinance means the City's
<br />Director of Finance.
