<br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Ordinance 77-03C adopted October 4, 2004. to increase
<br />contracting authority for SupervisorlJv1:anagerlEmployee TraiIiing, Government Agreements, Lab
<br />Analysis Services - WWTP and Janitorial Services,. and thus authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public
<br />Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the
<br />Procurement Officer to enter into contracts for professional services, and to advertise for bids and enter
<br />into contracts for the purchase of repair maintenance and operating supplies, services and equipment as
<br />authorized by the 2004 Appropriation Ordinance and the administrative Code of the City of Lakewood
<br />with the lowest and best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto detennines: that this
<br />ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible
<br />as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED CHARTER OF THE
<br />CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal
<br />departments in that delay could impair the City's ability to provide necessary services in a timely
<br />manner, now, therefore,

<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO

<br />Section 1. That Ordinance No. 77-03C, adopted October 4, 2004, cuÌrently reading as follows:

<br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the
<br />Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Procurement Officer be and are hereby authorized
<br />and directed to enter into a contract or contracts for supplies, services and equipment with the lowest and
<br />best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by law, as follows:
