PLACED ON <br />2ND READING 2/2/04. <br /> <br /> Corrigan, Demro, DeYer, Dunn~ <br /> FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to enact a new section of Chapter 129 of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood establishing operational cash funds for the use of <br />departments within the.City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> BE lq- ORDAINED BYTHE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section t. There is hereby established Operational Cash Funds for the use of <br />various departments throughout the City, as follows: <br /> <br />Tax Department $150.00 <br />Police Department $175.00 <br />Building Department $100.00 <br />Municipal Courts $125.00 <br />Health Department $100.00 <br />Winterhurst $1,225,00 <br />Water Department $100.00 <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed forthwith to take such action <br />and to make such records as may be necessary to estabIish these funds and thereafter <br />to show its existence and condition at all times upon the proper records of the City. <br /> <br /> Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal action~ of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted inan open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its <br />Committees' that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety <br />and welfare in the City and for the usual daily operation of.the City for the reasons set <br />forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this ordinance <br />shall'take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council and <br />approval by the Mayor otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest <br />period allowed by law. <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Appreved.~/~/~., ~2DD ~ <br /> <br />CLERK <br /> <br /> <br />
