<br />'BDACED ON 1ST READING & REFERRED TO THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE 1216104. <br /> <br />PLACED ON 2ND READING 12120104. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO <br /> <br />102-04 <br /> <br />BY: Corrigan~ Demro, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br />Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE exempting the Regional Traosit Authority ITom the <br />prohibitions of Section 90118 of the Streets aod Public Service Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to permit the placement and/or construction <br />of a glass shelter southbound, nearside on W. I 17th at Madison <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Ordinance shall take immediate effect upon adoption aod <br />approval of the Mayor in order to expedite the process for installing a convenient glass <br />bus shelter for the citizens of the community. <br /> <br />Section L That the Council ofthe City of Lakewood hereby exempts the <br />Regional Traosit Authority ITom the prohibitions of Section 901.18 of the Streets aod <br />Public SerVice Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to <br />allow for the construction and/or placement of a glass shelter southbound, nearside on W <br />I 17th at Madison. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found aod detennined that all fonnal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this Council, and that all such deliberations of this Council an any of its <br />connnittees that resulted in such fannal action were in meetings open to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this Ordinaoce is hereby declared to be ao emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shaH take effect and <br />be in forcè immediately upon its adoption and approval by the mayor; otherwise, it shall <br />take effect aod be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />r- <br />Adopted: d.Jk) )), :J.~iPr <br /> <br />Q~.~ <br /> <br />PRESIDENT <br /> <br />Approved: :;:)¡µf-.~, d-oU\ <br /> <br />
