AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to approve the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances and resolutions as parts of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances and to provide for the publication of such new matter. WHEREAS, the Walter H. Drane Company h~s completed a revision and updating of the Codified Ordinances of the City; and WHEREAS, various ordinances and resolutions of a generai and permanent nature that have been passed by Council but not yet included in the Codified Ordinances of the City have now been made a part thereof; and WHEREAS, this CQuncil by a vote 0f at least five (5) members elected thereto determines that thiS ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE cm OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is. necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that the publication and distribution of the 2003 Replacement Pages for the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood should be conducted at the earliest date possibie.
