<br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and <br />directed to advertise for bids and enter into a contract with the lowest and best bidder <br />in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood, for the foiiowing <br />Building and Facilities Improvements, contrâcts not to exceed the specified amounts <br />shown, except as hereinafter provided: <br /> <br />City Hall Complex Renovations <br />Fire Station Renovations <br />Senior Center West-Roof,elevator,cooler <br />Senior Center East-HVAC <br />Winterhurst <br /> <br />$127,000 <br />388,000 <br />36,400 <br />7,400 <br />1 40,000 <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into contracts as set forth above in amounts not to exceed the <br />specified amounts without further action from Council; and to enter into contracts in <br />excess of specified amounts only upon consent of Council evidenced by adoption of a <br />resolution specifying the authorized amount. <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that aii formal actions of this <br />Council concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an <br />open meeting of this Council, and that aii such deliberations of this Councii and of any <br />of its committees that resultéd in such formal action were in meetings open to the <br />public in compliance with aii legal requirements. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />necessary for the usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set forth and defined <br />in the preambie to this ordinance, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at <br />least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in force immediately upon its adoption by the Councii and approval by the Mayor <br />otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: Ì}/tIA-k-. 1v, )oò ï <br /> <br />~.~ <br /> <br />Pr sident of Council <br /> <br />Approved: ~.
