An ORDINANCE to amend section 1323.03, Time and Fee, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood for the purpose of updating registration fees of general contractors performing work within the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, the fee for a general o,ntractor s reg strabon was last amended in 1991, and WHEREAS, the cost to the City o~ administering the general contractor's registration programs has increased substantially since 1991, and WHEREAS, this ordinance is necessary for the public health, welfare and safety. Now therefore, BE El' ORDAINED BY THE CEFY OF LAKEVVOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. That Section 1323.03, Time and Fee, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of LakeWood currently reads as follows: 1323,03 TTME AND FEE. The registration shall be valid for the calendar year in which issued and shall be renewed annually thereafter. A fee of fifty dollars ($50.00) shall be paid at the time of original issuance and at each renewal thereafter. shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: 1323.03 TI'ME AND FEE. The registration shall be valid for the calendar year in which issued and shall be renewed annually thereafter. A fee of seventy five dollars ($75.00) shall be paid at the time of original issuance and at each renewal thereafter. Where work for Which registration is required is star~ed prior to registration, the required registration fee shall be doubled.
