Please Substitute for Ordinance 42-03A <br /> (Placed on first reading 4/5/04, referred <br /> to Finance Committee) PLACED ON 2ND <br /> READ 4/i9/04. <br />OR~INANCENO. 55-04 bY: Corrigan~ Demro, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> Madigan, Seelie. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and rates of pay for full-time and certain <br />part-time annual salaried employees and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining <br />agreement inthe several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, effective April 1, <br />2004. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto det~mines that <br />this ordinance is an emergency measure, hnd that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date <br />possible as set fordi in ARTICLE IH, 8ECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER <br />OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in <br />that these flew positions are necessary to effectively carry out the business of the City 0f Lakewood <br />Now Therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Classifications, rates of pay, pay grades, levels and certain other <br />supplemental compensation for non-probationary full-time and certain pm-time, annual <br />salaried and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement are <br />hereby authorized in the seyeral departments, divisions and offices of the City of <br />Lakewood as fixed in accordance with the Administrative Employee Salary <br />Administration Program Policy and Procedures, as modified llerein, and with the <br />approval of the Department Director, Director of Finance, Human Resources <br />Administrator and Mayor: <br /> <br />Section 2.
