AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and rates of pay for full-time and certain part-time annual salaried employees and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement inthe several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, effective April 1, 2004. WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto det~mines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, hnd that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest date possible as set fordi in ARTICLE IH, 8ECTONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments in that these flew positions are necessary to effectively carry out the business of the City 0f Lakewood Now Therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. Classifications, rates of pay, pay grades, levels and certain other supplemental compensation for non-probationary full-time and certain pm-time, annual salaried and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement are hereby authorized in the seyeral departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood as fixed in accordance with the Administrative Employee Salary Administration Program Policy and Procedures, as modified llerein, and with the approval of the Department Director, Director of Finance, Human Resources Administrator and Mayor: Section 2.
