<br />Exhibit C <br /> <br />DESCRIPTION OF THE PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS <br /> <br />The Public Improvements include site preparation to support the proposed new light industrial <br />building, future expansion area, and related parking and circulation areas including: <br /> <br />1. Excavation and grading in preparation for the installation of Geopiers, or <br />equivalent method; <br /> <br />2. Geopier soil reinforcement, or equivalent method, the installation of Geopiers, or <br />equivalent method, which strengthen and stiffen the subsurface soils that then <br />support the footings and floor slab loads of the proposed new building; <br /> <br />3. Relocation of spoil resulting ITom the installation of the Geopiers, or equivalent <br />method; <br /> <br />4. Hauling and placing on site of engineered fill; <br /> <br />5. Installation of Geogrid fabric reinforcement system, or equivalent method; <br /> <br />6. Reinforcement of the building slab; <br /> <br />7. All related soft costs, including but not limited to engineering, surveying, proj ect <br />management, bid preparation, construction administration and on-site project <br />representation; and <br /> <br />8. All other site work related to the site preparation activities described above. <br />
