PLACED ON IST READING & REFERRED TO THE <br /> COT4IITTEE OF THE WHOLE & PLANNING COMMISS. <br /> ORDINANCE N0: ~0-04 6/21/04. <br /> BY: Demro, Dever, Dunn, FitzGerald, <br /> • Madigan, Seelie. <br /> AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor or his designee to enter into an agreement with the <br /> City of Cleveland to honor zoning regulations restricting uses transcending the boundaries between <br /> the City of Lakewood and the City of Cleveland. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and the City of Cleveland share a common border; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the ordinances of the Ci <br /> ty of Cleveland, the area bordering the City of <br /> Lakewood is zoned substantially for commercial and industrial uses; and <br /> WHEREAS, under the Zoning Code of the City of Lakewood, the area bordering the City of <br /> Cleveland is zoned primarily for residential, commercial and industrial uses; and <br /> WHEREAS, it is desirable for the municipalities to consider uses across their common border <br /> because of the inconsistencies. of zoned uses across that border. <br /> that this oEd nancehis anuemeb en vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto determines <br /> earliest date possible as set forth i ARTICLE IIIaSECTIONh10 andnl3 of theISECOND AMENDED <br /> CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of <br /> the public property, health and safety.
