AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor or his designee to enter into an agreement with the City of Cleveland to honor zoning regulations restricting uses transcending the boundaries between the City of Lakewood and the City of Cleveland. WHEREAS, the City of Lakewood and the City of Cleveland share a common border; and WHEREAS, under the ordinances of the Ci ty of Cleveland, the area bordering the City of Lakewood is zoned substantially for commercial and industrial uses; and WHEREAS, under the Zoning Code of the City of Lakewood, the area bordering the City of Cleveland is zoned primarily for residential, commercial and industrial uses; and WHEREAS, it is desirable for the municipalities to consider uses across their common border because of the inconsistencies. of zoned uses across that border. that this oEd nancehis anuemeb en vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto determines earliest date possible as set forth i ARTICLE IIIaSECTIONh10 andnl3 of theISECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety.
