<br />3. For the purpose of this Agreement, the agent for the County and <br />liaison officer on the matter contained herein shall be the County <br />Engineer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio, and lor such members of his <br />staff as he may designate. <br /> <br />1. AUTHORTIY TO SIGN <br /> <br />1. That the Mayor of the City of Lakewood is hereby empowered and <br />directed on behalf of the City to enter into agreements with the <br />County necessary to complete the planning and construction of this <br />improvement. <br />2. That the Mayor of the City of Lakewood is hereby empowered and <br />directed on behalf of the City to make application to the Cuyahoga <br />County Board of Commissioners for approval to use County Motor <br />Vehicle License Tax Funds for the Improvement. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward a <br />certified copy of this Ordinance to the County Engineer of Cuyahoga County. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property, <br />health, safety and weifare in the City and for the usual daily operation of the City for <br />the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) of its members elected to Council, this <br />ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediateiy upon its adoption by the Council <br />and approval by the Mayor otherwise, it shall take effect and be In force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law. <br /> <br />Section 4.
