<br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE amending Ordinance No. 99-04B, adopted July 18,
<br /> 2005 for the purpose of changing and decreasing contracting authority for the Mayor (Director of
<br /> Public Safety), the Director of Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or
<br /> the Procurement Officer to enter into contracts for professional services, and to advertise for bids
<br /> and enter into contracts for the purchase of repair maintenance and operating supplies, services
<br /> and equipment as authorized by the 2005 Appropriation Ordinance and the Admnistrafive Code
<br /> of the City of Lakewood with the lowest and best bidder or bidders or as otherwise provided by
<br /> law:
<br /> WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five.(5) members elected thereto determines that
<br /> this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the eazliest
<br /> date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED
<br /> CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual
<br /> daily operation of municipal departments in that delay could impair the City's ability to provide
<br /> necessary services in a fimely manner, now, therefore,
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKBWOOD; STATE OF OHIO
<br /> Section 1. That Ordinance No. 99-04B, adopted July 18, 2005, currently reading as
<br />
