<br />(a) No person under the age of eighteen years shall remain or play billiards in a billiard <br />room unless he is accompanied by an adult. <br /> <br />(b) No owner or keeper of a billiard room shall permit a minor under the age of <br />eighteen years toplay billiards in or to remain in such room unless such minor is <br />accompanied by an adult. <br /> <br />(c) No person under the age of eighteen years shall remain or bowl in a bowling alley <br />having a Class I license unless such minor is employed for setting pins therein, or <br />unless such minor is accompanied by an adult. However, persons under the age of <br />eighteen years may be permitted to bowi or rernain in a bowling alley operating under <br />Class I license if such minors are members of a group supervised by the Recreation <br />Department of the Board of Education, if they are accompanied by a supervisor <br />designated by such Recreation Department, and if such bowling alley is shut off from <br />access to the rooms or place where intoxicating liquor or beer is sold, and provided that <br />no intoxicating liquor or beer is sold in such room or place during the period such <br />persons under eighteen years of age, while so supervised, are within the bowling alley, <br />and provided further that ingress and egress to and from the bowling alley during such <br />period is made without passing through the room or premises where intoxicating liquors <br />or beer are kept for sale. <br /> <br />(d) No owner or keeper of a bowling alley under a Class I license shall permit such <br />minors as are not within the exceptions contained in subsection (c) hereof to bowl in or <br />to remain in such bowling alley. <br /> <br />713.11 CONTENTS OF LICENSE; EXPIRATION. <br />Every license issued under the provisions of this chapter shall expire on <br />December 31 of the year for which it was issued irrespective of the date of issuance, <br />except as provided in Section 713.08 hereof. Every such license shall contain the name <br />of the licensee and the location to which the license applies by street and number. The <br />license shall also state its class and the conditions provided in Sections 713.09 and <br />713.10 hereof. <br /> <br />r <br />t <br />t <br /> <br />713.12 TRANSFERABILITY. <br />No. transfer of a license as to person or place shall be permitted except with the <br />consent of the Mayor, which consent shall be endorsed upon the license. To be entitled <br />to transfer, the applicant for same must have complied with all the provisions of this <br />chapter. <br /> <br />713.13 HOURS OF OPERATION. <br />No person, society, club, firm or corporation shall operate a billiard room or <br />bowling alley or harbor or permit any person or persons to be or remain in such billiard <br />room or bowling alley any day of the week between the hours of 2:30 a.m. and 7:00 <br />a.m., except on Sunday, when any such billiard room or bowling alley may be open for <br />business only between the hours of 12:01 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. and 12:00 noon and 2:30 <br />a.m. of the following day. However, no such person, society, Club, firm or corporation <br />operating a billiard room or bowling alley shall harbor or permit any child under the age <br />of eighteen years to be or remain in any such billiard room or bowling alley after the <br />hour of 12:00 midnight any day of the week, unless such child is accompanied by his or <br />her parent, guardian or other adult person having the control and custody of such <br />child. This section shall not be construed to prevent regular employees from <br />performing necessary work within the premises. (Ord. 2-65. Passed 1-4-65.) <br /> <br />713.14 GAMBLING ON PREMISES. <br />No dice shall be thrown, no pea-ball used, and no cards or other games of <br />chance or any form of gambling shall be permitted in any billiard room or bowling alley <br />or in the room in which such tables are located, or at any cigar stand or other business <br />in the same room, whether or not such room is divided by a partition, nor shall any <br />checks be given whiCh can be redeemed for merchandise or cash. <br />
