PLACED ON 2ND READING <br />5/2/05. <br />Ordinançe No. 31-05 By: Corrigan, ,Demro, Dever, Dunn, <br />FítzGerald, Madig?ll, Seelie. <br />An Ordinance to amend Section 1325.09, Permit Fees, of the Codified Ordinances <br />of the City of Lakewood for the purpose of changing certain fees charged by the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br />Whereas, the City wishes to attract large-scale development; and <br /> <br />Whereas, in order to compete for and to attract large-scale develppment, the city <br />must have a competitive fee structure; and <br /> <br />Whereas, competitive fee structures will keep the cost of doing bµsiness in <br />Lakewood equitable. ' <br /> <br />Whereas, after a comprehensive review of our permit fee structure and an <br />analysis of our neighboring communities fee structures, the Administration is <br />r~commending the eJimination, lowering and increase of various fees; and <br /> <br />Whereas, these adjustments will result in the stimulation and furthering of <br />ec;onomic activity, especially in the area of new construction. Now therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That Section 1325.09, Permit Fees, of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of Lakewood, currently reading as follows: <br /> <br />1325.09 FEES. <br />Application fee for the Architectural Board of Review (ABR) is twenty-five dollars <br />($25.00). , <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows, <br /> <br />1325.09 FEES. <br />Application fees for the Architectural Board of Review (ABR) shall be as follows: <br /> <br />(a) Residential <br />(b) Commercial <br /> <br />$25.00 <br />50.00 <br /> <br />Section 2. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council <br />concerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open <br />meeting of this COuncil, and that all such deliberation of the COuncil a¡1d of any of its <br />committees that resulted in such formal' action were in meetings open' to the public in <br />compliance with all legal requirements, <br /> <br />Adopted: '1<1.....
