PLACED ON 2ND READING 5/2/05 <br />DEFERRED 5/16/05. <br /> <br />Ordinance No. 32-05 By: Corrigan,Demro, Dever, Dunn, <br />FitzGerald, Madigan, Seelie. <br />An Ordinance to amend Section 1173.06, Fees, of the Codified Ordinances of the <br />City of Lakewood for the purpose of changing certain fees charged by the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br />Whereas, the City wishes to attract large-scale development; and <br /> <br />Whereas, in order to compete for and to attract large-scale development, the city <br />must have a competitive fee structure; and <br /> <br />Whereas, competitive fee structures will keep the cost of doing business in <br />Lakewood equitable. <br /> <br />Whereas, after a comprehensive review of our permit fee structure and an <br />analysis of our neighboring communities fee structures, the Administration is <br />recommending the elimination, lowering and increase of various fees; and <br /> <br />Whereas, these adjustments will result in the stimulation and furthering of <br />economic activity, especially in the area of new construction. NoVV therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />Section 1.
