<br /> part-time annual salaried employees and hourly rate employees. not covered by a collective baggaining C' f: ~I
<br /> agreement in the several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, including the l
<br /> Chief of Fire, Chief of Police and Civil Service Commissioners, effective January 1,.2005. ~
<br /> WHEREAS, the maximum rate for each pay grade has not increased since 2001, and it has ~
<br /> become necessary to adjust the maximum rates by three percent (3%),
<br /> WHEREAS, this Ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily
<br /> operation of a municipal department in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, it is
<br /> necessary to adjust the compensation of employees; now, therefore;
<br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO:
<br /> Section 1. Classifications, rates of pay, pay grades, levels and certain other supplemental
<br /> compensation for non-probationary full-time and certain part-time, annual salaried and hourly rate
<br /> employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement are hereby authorized in the several
<br /> departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, as modified herein, and with the approval
<br /> of the Department Director, Director of Finance, Human Resources Director and Mayor Effecive
<br /> January 1, 2005, all full fime employees shall receive a general increase to their existing pay of three
<br /> percent (3%), provided that such resultant increase does not increase any employee's rate of pay to an
<br /> amount greater than the maximum rate for the pay grade to which the their classification is assigned as
<br /> follows
