PLACED ON iST READING & REFERRED TO FINANCE COMMITTEE 6/18/07. ORDINANCE NO, 56-07 FitzGerald, P~digan, Seelie. AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members elected to Council otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law to authorize the transfer and advance of certain funds. WHEREAS, this Council by a vote Of at least five members elected thereto~etermines that this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall/take effect at the earliest date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS i0 an~13 of the SECOND AMENDED CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is/~ecessary to provide for the usual dally operation of the City in that the City must appropriate and record all financial transactions within the appropriate fiscal period. Now therefore, BE 1T ORDAINED BYTHE CTTY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO Section 1. That the ,Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to make the following transfers: Fun~ 101GeneralFund Special Revenue Funds 212 Litter Control Fund 213 Commune Festival Fund 250 Office on Aging IIIB 251 Office on Aging IIIC Enterprise Funde 530 Winterhirst Tce Rink Fund Tnternal Service Funde 600 Hospitalization Fund 601 Workers' Compensation Fund 2007 2nd Qua~er Trans~rs Out Trans~rs'In 578,731 4,250 1,250 300,000 128,750 101,250 37,319 5,912 TOTALS 878r731 578~731 Section 2, That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the City for the reasons set forth and defined in the preamble to this ordinance, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of at ]east five of its members elected to Council, this ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption by the Council and approval by the Mayor; otherwise~ it shall take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law.
