<br />"Notes" means the Street Improvement Refunding Notes, Series 2008, authorized by this <br />ordinance. <br /> <br />"Outstanding Notes" means the $1,915,833 portion of the City's $1,929,000 street <br />improvement notes, authorized by City Ordinance 29-07, enacted March 27, 2007, and issued as <br />part of the City's consolidated issue of $6,123,000 Various Purpose General Obligation Bond <br />Anticipation Notes, Series 2007. <br /> <br />"Participant" means any participant contracting with a Depository under a Book-Entry <br />System and includes securities brokers and dealers, banks and trust companies, and clearing <br />corporations. <br /> <br />"Project" means improving the following streets ill the City by constructing, <br />reconstructing, and paving between the termini set forth below: <br /> <br />Woodward Avenue ITom Madison to Detroit <br />Belle Avenue from Detroit to Franklin <br />Arliss Avenue from Cove to its end <br />Blossom Park Avenue ITom Franklin to Detroit <br />Parkway Drive from Lewis to Lewis <br />Bonnieview Drive from Detroit to Clifton Boulevard <br /> <br />"Purchase Agreement" means the Note Purchase Agreement between the City and the <br />Underwriter, entered into in accordance with Section 7 of this ordinance. <br /> <br />"Register" means all books and records necessary for the registration, exchange, and <br />transfer of the Notes. <br /> <br />"Registrar" means The Huntington National Bank or any successor registrar designated <br />in accordance with the Registrar Agreement, or any other bank or trust company as designated <br />by the Director of Finance in the Certificate of Award. <br /> <br />"Registrar Agreement" means the Note Registrar Agreement between the City and the <br />Registrar, as supplemented, amended, or modified. <br /> <br />"Underwriter" means Wachovia Bank, National Association. <br /> <br />10 <br />
