Vacancies shall be filled by the initial <br />appointing authority. <br />142.04 Advisory. <br />The Lakewood Animal Safety and Welfare Advisory Board shall be advisory <br />and shall coordinate its activities with the Administration and Council and any <br />other boards or agencies. The Lakewood Animal Safety and Welfare Advisory <br />Board is authorized to undertake any task requested that is consistent with its <br />purpose. <br />142.05 Chairperson. <br />Appointed members shall elect a chairperson and co-chairperson who <br />shall preside over all of the meetings. <br />142.06 Bylaws, Rules of Operation and Meetings. <br />The Lakewood Animal Safety and Welfare Advisory Board is authorized to adopt <br />its own bylaws and general rules of operation. Such bylaws and rules shall be <br />consistent with this Chapter. The Board shall meet annually and at other times <br />determined necessary by the Board. <br />Section 2.
