PLEASE SUBSTITUTE FOR ORDIi3ANCE N0. <br />~1-08 PLACED on 1ST READING & REFERRED <br />TO THE COMMITTEE DF THE WHOLE LL/1T/08, <br />2ND READING 12/108., <br />ORDINANCE NO: 91-08 BY: Antonio, Bullock,'<Butler, Dever, <br />Madigan, Powers, Summers. <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of at least <br />five (5) members elected to Council otherwise, it shall take effect and be in force after the <br />earliest period allowed by law authorizing the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of <br />Public Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager to <br />enter into service contracts in accordance with the Administrative Code of the City of Lakewood <br />for the Division of Planning & Development in accordance with the Administrative Code of the <br />City of Lakewood, contracts not to exceed the specified amounts shown without separate <br />resolution of Council. <br />WHEREAS, this Council by a vote of at least five (5) members elected thereto determines that <br />this ordinance is an emergency measure, and that this ordinance shall take effect at the earliest <br />date possible as set forth in ARTICLE III, SECTIONS 10 and 13 of the SECOND AMMENDED <br />CHARTER OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, and that it is necessary to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments in that .delay could impair the City's ability to provide <br />necessary services in a timely manner. Now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO <br />Section 1. That the Mayor (Director of Public Safety), the Director of Public <br />Works, the Director of Law, the Director of Finance, and/or the Purchasing Manager is hereby <br />authorized and directed to enter into contracts in accordance with the Administrafive Code of the <br />City of Lakewood, for the Division of Planning & Development, contracts not to exceed the <br />specified amounts shown, except as hereinafter provided: <br />Service Contracts <br />Loan Service Fees <br />Lead Programs <br />Early Childhood Scholarships <br />LMI Housing Rehab Loans <br />Store Front Renovation <br />Operation Paint Brush <br />CAMP CAN DO <br />Leaf & Snow Removal <br />FAIR HOUSING <br />LCSC- SUPPORTIVE HOUSING <br />NCHM -Medical Assistance <br />$3,600,000 <br />
