(c) No person shall enter into, or remain in, the waters of Lake Erie situated <br />between the east-west boundary of Lakewood Park, for any purpose whatsoever. <br />Section 2. That Section 905.98, Authority of the Superintendent of Parks, of <br />the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood currently reading as follows: <br />905.98 AUTHORITY OF SUPERINTENDENT OF PARKS. <br />The Superintendent of Parks is authorized to make and establish such additional <br />rules and regulations, not otherwise provided for and not inconsistent with the <br />provisions of this chapter, as he may deem necessary to protect the public in the use of <br />the parks and the facilities located therein and/or to protect and preserve such parks <br />and facilities. <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />905.98 AUTHORITY OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. <br />The Director of Public Works or his or her designee is authorized to make <br />and establish such additional rules and regulations, not otherwise provided for and not <br />inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, as he may deem necessary to protect <br />the public in the use of the parks and the facilities located therein and/or to protect and <br />preserve such parks and facilities. <br />Section 3. That Section 771.05, Bond, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood currently reading as follows: <br />771.05 BOND. <br />When evidence discloses that the permit holder has refused or failed to comply <br />with the provisions of this chapter, the Superintendent of Parks may require the permit <br />holder to furnish a performance bond in the amount of five thousand dollars ($5,000) <br />guaranteeing full faith and compliance with the provisions of this chapter and binding <br />the surety thereon to correct or abate any violations of this chapter whenever the <br />applicant for permit named as principal on such bond refuses, neglects or fails to <br />correct or abate such violation within a reasonable time as set by the Superintendent of <br />the Division of Parks and Public Grounds. <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />771.05 BOND. <br />When evidence discloses that the permit holder has refused or failed to comply <br />with the provisions of this chapter, the Director of Public Works or his or her <br />designee may require the permit holder to furnish a performance bond in the amount <br />
