301.17 INTERSECTION. <br />"Intersection" means: <br />(a) The area embraced within the prolongation or connection of the lateral curb <br />lines, or, if none, then the lateral boundary lines of the roadways of two highways <br />which join one another at, or approximately at, right angles, or the area within which <br />vehicles traveling upon different highways joining at any other angle may come in <br />conflict. <br />(b) Where a highway includes two roadways thirty feet or more apart, then <br />every crossing of each roadway of such divided highway by an intersecting highway <br />shall be regarded as a separate intersection. If an intersecting highway also includes <br />two roadways thirty feet or more apart, then every crossing of two roadways of such <br />highways shall be regarded as a separate intersection. <br />(c) The junction of an alley with a street or highway, or with another alley, shall <br />not constitute an intersection. (ORC 4511.01(KK)) <br />301.18 CANED STREET OR HIGHWAY. <br />"Caned street or highway" means a street or highway the roadway of which is <br />divided into two or more clearly marked lanes for vehicular traffic. <br />(ORC 4511.01(GG)) <br />301.19 MOTORCYCLE. <br />"Motorcycle" means every motor vehicle, other than a tractor, having a saddle for <br />the use of the operator and designed to travel on not more than three wheels in <br />contact with the ground, including, but not limited to, motor vehicles known as "motor- <br />driven cycle," "motor scooter" or "motorcycle" without regard to weight or brake <br />horsepower. <br />(ORC 4511.01(C)) <br />301.195 MOTORIZED WHEELCHAIR. <br />"Motorized wheelchair" means any self-propelled vehicle designed for, and used by, <br />a handicapped person and that is incapable of a speed in excess of eight miles per <br />hour. <br />(ORC 4511.01(EEE)) <br />301.20 MOTOR VEHICLE. <br />"Motor vehicle" means every vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than <br />muscular power, except motorized bicycles, road rollers, traction engines, power <br />shovels, power cranes and other equipment used in construction work and not designed <br />for or employed in general highway transportation, hole-digging machinery, ditch- <br />digging machinery, well-drilling machinery, farm machinery, trailers used to transport <br />agricultural produce or agricultural production materials between a local place of <br />storage or supply and the farm when drawn or towed on a street or highway at a speed <br />5 <br />
