Vehicles crossing from one side of a street to the other shall turn to the left so as to <br />head in the same direction as the traffic on the side of the street toward which the <br />crossing is made. However, in congested districts no vehicle shall turn or cross in a <br />street between street intersections unless it does so without backing to make the turn. <br />(Ord. 4830. Passed 4-21-52.) <br />331.43 DRIVING THROUGH PROCESSIONS. <br />No person or vehicle shall drive, ride or be driven through a procession without the <br />permission of a police officer. <br />(Ord. 4830. Passed 4-21-52.) <br />331.44 OPERATION ON PATHS SET ASIDE FOR BICYCLES. <br />No person shall operate a motor vehicle, snowmobile orall-purpose vehicle upon <br />any path set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles, when an appropriate sign giving <br />notice of such use is posted on the path. <br />Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect any rule of the Ohio Director of <br />Natural Resources governing the operation of motor vehicles, snowmobiles, all-purpose <br />vehicles and bicycles on lands under his or her jurisdiction. <br />(ORC 4511.713) <br />331.45 LITTERING FROM MOTOR VEHICLES. <br />(a) No operator or occupant of a motor vehicle shall, regardless of intent, <br />throw, drop, discard or deposit litter from any motor vehicle in operation upon any <br />street, road or highway, except into a litter receptacle in a manner that prevents its <br />being carried away or deposited by the elements. <br />(b) No operator of a motor vehicle in operation upon any street, road or <br />highway shall allow litter to be thrown, dropped, discarded or deposited from the motor <br />vehicle, except into a litter receptacle in a manner that prevents its being carried away <br />or deposited by the elements. <br />(c) As used in this section, "litter" means garbage, trash, waste, rubbish, ashes, <br />cans, bottles, wire, paper, cartons, boxes, automobile parts, furniture, glass or anything <br />else of an unsightly or unsanitary nature. <br />(ORC 4511.82) <br />331.46 USE OF EARPHONES WHILE DRIVING. <br />(a) No person shall operate a motor vehicle while wearing earphones over, or <br />earplugs in, both ears. As used in this section, "earphones" means any headset, radio, <br />tape player or other similar device that provides the listener with radio programs, music <br />or other recorded information through a device attached to the head and that covers all <br />or a portion of both ears. "Earphones" does not include speakers or other listening <br />devices that are built into protective headgear. <br />17 <br />
