1127.07 MINIMUM YARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRINCIPAL BUILDINGS <br />In the ML and MH Multiple-Family Residential Districts each lot shall maintain the <br />minimum front, side, and rear yard specified in Schedule 1127.07. Exterior steps <br />leading to a main entrance of a principal building shall be excluded from the front <br />yard requirement. For existing principal buildings with side yards of less than <br />those specified in Schedule 1127.07, an addition may be constructed provided <br />that the new addition does not encroach into the existing side yard any further <br />than the foundation sidewalls of the existing building. <br />SCHEDULE 1127.07: MINIMUM YARD REQUIREMENTS <br />District Side Yard Depth <br />ML Sixty percent (60%) of the height of the building, but not less than twenty <br />(20) feet on interior lot lines.. <br />MH Seventy-five percent (75%) of the height of the building, but not less than <br />twenty (20) feet on interior lot lines. <br />For each two (2) feet all side yards are increased over the required width, five (5) square <br />feet may be subtracted from the required lot area per dwelling unit in the ML and MH <br />Districts <br />District Rear Yard Depth <br />ML Sixty percent (60%) of the height of the building, but not less than fifty <br />(50) feet on interior lot lines <br />MH Seventy-five percent (75%) of the height of the building, but not less than <br />fifty (50) feet on interior lot lines <br />District Front Yard Depth <br />ML The front yard, including the street side of a corner lot, shall be as <br />established on the Building Line Map, or a distance equal to the height <br />of the building measured from the base of the building to the center of the <br />street, whichever is greater. <br />MH The front yard, including the street side of a corner lot, shall be as <br />established on the Building Line Map, or a distance equal to seventy- <br />five percent (75%) of the height of the building measured from the base of <br />the building to the center of the street, whichever is greater. <br />1127.08 OFF-STREET PARKING <br />Off-street parking as regulated by Chapter 1143. <br />City of Lakewood Chapter 1127- 5 <br />Zoning Code July 2008 <br />
