34-11 Amend 505.18, Certain Animals Prohibited

(b) For the purposes of this section, there shall be an irrebuttable presump- tion, that, when kept or maintained within the City, the animals listed below are considered dangerous animals to which the prohibition of subsection (a) hereof, in the absence of an exemption pursuant to sub- sections (c) or (d) hereof, applies: (5) Bovines fBovidae), includes all members of the bovine family, for example goats, sheen, bison and buffalo; (6) Cheetahs (Acinonyxjubatus); (7) Crocodilians (Crocodilia); (8) Constrictor snakes when fourteen feet in length or more; (10) Coyotes (Canis latrans); (11) Deer (Cervidae), includes all members of the deer family, for example, white-tailed deer, elk, antelope and moose; (12) Elephants (Elephas and Loxodonta); (13) Foxes (Canis vulpes); (14) Gamecocks and other fighting birds; (15) Hippopotami (Hippopotamidae); (16) Horses (Equidae). includes all members of the horse family, for example donkeys. mules and zebras; 17 Hyenas (Hyaenidae); .
