Section 7. That Section 506.14 of the Codified Ordinances, Police Dogs, cur- <br />rently reading as follows: <br />506.14 POLICE DOGS. <br />The terms "dangerous animal" and "vicious animal," as used in this <br />chapter, do not include police dogs that have been trained and may be <br />used to assist law enforcement officers in the performance of their offi- <br />cial duties. <br />shall be and hereby is amended to read as follows: <br />506.14 POLICE DOGS; SERVICE ANIMALS. <br />The terms "dangerous animal" and "vicious animal," as used in this <br />chapter, do not include police dogs that have been trained and may be <br />used to assist law enforcement officers in the performance of their offi- <br />cial duties. Pit bull does and canarv does do not include service ani- <br />mals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act and the re ula- <br />tions nromuleated pursuant thereto. <br />Section 8.
