That new subsection (y), Drive-Through Facility, within Section 1161.03 <br />Supplemental Regulations for Specific Uses, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lake- <br />wood, shall be and is hereby enacted to read as follows: <br />1161.03 SUPPLEMENTAL REGULATIONS FOR SPECIFIC USES. <br />In addition to the general standards established in Section 1161.02, the follow- <br />ing specific conditions shall apply to each use or class of uses listed in this Sec- <br />tion 1161.03. Nothing hi this Section shall prohibit the Commission from pre- <br />scribing supplementary conditions and safeguards in addition to these require- <br />ments, or where no specific conditions are stated. <br />(a) Accessory Parkine.... <br />~ Drive-Through Facility. In a Cl Office, C2 Retail, C3 General Busi- <br />ness or PD Planned Development District, adrive-through facility may <br />be conditionally permitted as an accessory use provided that: <br />Equipment installed for the operation of the drive-through fa- <br />cility including but not limited to pohrt of service speakers, <br />service windows, menu boards, vacuums, and washing bays <br />shall not be Located within fifty (501 feet of the nearest point <br />of a dwelling regardless of the permitted use of the property; <br />Subiect to Section 1129.16(dl, no drive-through facility shall <br />be operated behveen the hours of 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., <br />and no drive-through facility abutting residentially zoned or <br />residentially used property shall be operated between the <br />hours of 10:00 p.m, and 6:00 a.m.; <br />Anv drive-through equ~ment used in the drive-through facil- <br />ity including but not limited to point of sale speakers, vac- <br />uums, and windows shall be designed and oriented to mini- <br />mize the affect on abutting residential pro~rties; sound at- <br />tenuation walls, landsca~mg or other materials shall be used, <br />
