The proceeds from any fine so im- <br />posed shall be dish•ibuted in accordance with division <br />(C)(2) of that sectimi. <br />(2) An order for inunobilizatimt and impounchnent of a vehicle <br />under this section shall be issued and enforced in accordance <br />with Ohio R.C. 4503.233 and 4507.02, as applicable. T7te court <br />shall not release a vehicle fi•mn immobilization m•dered under <br />this section unless the court is presented with current proof of <br />financial respmisibilit3•vith respect to that vehicle. <br />(3) An order for criminal forfeihu•e of a vehicle wider this section <br />shall be issued and enforced under Ohio R.C. 4503.234. Upon <br />receipt of a copy of the m•der fi•mn the com•t, neither the Regis- <br />trar of Motm• Vehicles nor a Deputy Registrar shall accept any <br />application for the registration m• transfer of registration of <br />any motor vehicle owned or leased by the person Wanted iu the <br />declaration of forfeitw•c. 1'he period of registratim~ denial <br />shall be five years after the date of the order wtless, during <br />that period the court having jurisdiction of the offense that led <br />to the order terminates the forfeiture and notifies the Registrar <br />of the te~•mination. The Registrar then shall take the neeessa~~• <br />measures to permit the person to register a vehicle owned or <br />leased by the person or to transfer regish•atimt of the vehicle. <br />(ORC 4510.161) <br />(h) No person who has knowingly failed to maintain proof of financial <br />responsibility in accordance with Ohio R.C. 4509.101 shall produce <br />any document with Hte purpose to mislead a peace officer upmt the <br />request of a peace officer for proof of financial responsibility made in <br />accordance with Ohio R.C. 4509.101. Any person who violates this <br />subsection (j) hereof is guilty of falsification, a misdenteauor of the <br />first degree. (ORC 4509.102) <br />SECTION 2. Section 335.073, Driving Without Complying with License Reinstatement <br />Requirements, currently reading as follows: <br />335.073 DRIVING WI"1'HOU'I' COMPLYING WITH LICENSE REINSTATF,- <br />MENI' REQUIREMEN"I'S. <br />(a) No person whose driver's license, commercial driver's license, temporary <br />instruction permit, or nonresident's operating privilege has been suspended <br />shall operate any motor vehicle upon a public road or highway or any pub- <br />lic or private property after the suspension has expired unless the person <br />has complied with all license reinstatement requirements imposed by the <br />court, the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, or another provision of the Ohio Re- <br />vised Code. <br />(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of failure to reinstate a license, a <br />misdemeanor of the first degree. The court may impose upon the offender <br />a class seven suspension of the offender's driver's license, commercial <br />driver's license, temporary instruction permit, probatiatary ch•iver's license, <br />or nonresident operating privilege from the range specified in division <br />(A)(7} of Ohio R.C. 4510.02. (ORC 4510.21; Ord. 36-10. Passed 7-19- <br />10.) <br />shall be and is hereby amended as follows: <br />
