(d) If dogs are permitted within any park pursuant to subsection (a) hereof, no person shall fail to adhere to the following rules and re- strictions: (5) Notwithstanding any provision of this section, dogs shall be prohibited from the following areas within Lakewood Park- and Kauffman Park: B. The Director of Public Works or his or her designee is authorized to make and establish such additional rules and regulations, not otherwise provided for and not inconsistent with the provisions of this chapter, as he or she may deem necessary to protect the public in the use of the parks and the facilities located therein and/or to protect and preserve such parks and facilities. shall be and hereby is amended to read as follows: 905.98 AUTHORITY OF THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS. No person shall violate any such rule or regu- lation if it is posted publicly. Section 3. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council con- cerning and relating to the passage of this ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of this Council and that all such deliberations of this Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
