man of the Finance Committee of Council and the Director of Law. <br />They are hereby authorized to consider such claims and to settle, adjust <br />and compromise all lawful actions, causes of action, claims and de- <br />mands in favor of or against the City, providing such settlement, ad- <br />justment and compromise may be effected for five hundred dollars <br />($500.00) or less. <br />151.02 PAYMENT AND ACCEPTANCE OF CLAIMS OF $500.00 <br />OR LESS. <br />The Director of Finance, upon approval of the compromise and settle- <br />ment of any such action, cause of action, claim or demand against the <br />City for five hundred dollars ($500.00) or less by the Mayor, the <br />Chairman of the Finance Committee of Council and the Director of <br />Law is hereby authorized and directed to pay the amount so approved, <br />upon obtaining satisfactory release, and charge the amount to the prop- <br />er fund. The Director of Finance is hereby authorized and directed to <br />accept payment of any such claim in favor of the City amounting to <br />five hundred dollars ($500.00) or less upon the approval of such set- <br />tlement, adjustment and compromise thereof by the Mayor, the Chair- <br />man of the Finance Committee of Council and the Director of Law, to <br />execute the proper receipt or release and to credit any such amount to <br />the proper fund. <br />shall be and hereby is repealed. <br />Section 6. Chapter 158, Child Care Services Advisory Board, currently reading <br />as follows: <br />158.01 ESTABLISHMENT. <br />The Lakewood Child Care Services Advisory Board is hereby estab- <br />lished in and for the City. <br />158.02 COMPOSITION. <br />(a) The Lakewood Child Care Services Advisory Board shall consist of <br />not more than nine members who are interested in child care, as fol- <br />lows: <br />(1) Three parent representatives originally appointed by a committee <br />and thereafter by the Board; <br />(2) One attorney originally appointed by the same committee and <br />thereafter by the Board; <br />(3) One designee appointed by Council; <br />(4) One representative appointed by the Mayor; <br />(5) One designee appointed by the Lakewood Board of Education; <br />(6) One representative appointed by the Superintendent of the Lake- <br />wood City Schools; and <br />
