local transit authority, and any other design guidelines or standards <br />as recommended by the administration or City Council; <br />(B) The location of the transit waiting environment is to be determined <br />by the Director or such other persons as the Director may desig- <br />nate. <br />(2) Public art installation; <br />(3) Public pedestrian seating, street trees or decorative street lighting. <br />(d) Implementation of an innovative landscaping plan, considered to be over <br />and above the landscapintpicallquired by the Architectural Board of <br />Review, with consideration given to plant, flower, and tree type, size, de- <br />sign, location and irrigation as >arl t of the ]andscapee plain, <br />(e) Evidence that the property or business owner will make its parking lot <br />available for shared parking with nei hg boring businesses. <br />1143.12 BICYCLE PARKING REQUIREMENTS. <br />All uses defined as Retail or Office shall provide bicycle parking, in conform- <br />ance with the following standards: <br />(a) One bicycle parking space per 2,500 square feet shall be provided for uses <br />defined as Retail or Office; <br />(b) Required bicycle parking shall be provided in a safe, accessible and conven- <br />ient location; <br />(c) The bicycle space shall be within 250 feet of at least one main entrance of <br />the building, as measured along the most direct pedestrian access route, ex- <br />cept that bicycle spaces already installed within 250 feet of one main en- <br />trance shall count towards the bicycle parking requirement; <br />(d) There must be an aisle at least five feet wide behind all required bicycle <br />parking to allow room for bicycle maneuvering. Where the bicycle parking <br />is adjacent to a sidewalk, the maneuvering area may extend into the right- <br />of-way; and <br />(e) Bike rack design shall follow the recommendations in the Association of <br />Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP) Bicycle Parking Guidelines or <br />similar guidelines. <br />1143.13 STACKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS. <br />Stacking spaces not specified shall be determined on an individual basis by the <br />Commission. The following business uses shall be subject to the following <br />stacking requirements: <br />(a) Banks, phannacies or other low to moderate uses: thvo stacking spaces per <br />laiae; <br />(b) Gas stations: two stacking spaces per gas punnp island: <br />(c) Car washes: five stacking spaces per car wash lane; <br />
