(b) With the exception of the municipal representatives, members of <br />the Board will be appointed to a four -year term with no limit on <br />the number of terns that a member may serve. <br />145.05 PROCEDURE <br />(a) Fifty percent plus one of the current votine Keep Lakewood Beau - <br />tiful Board members shall constitute a quorum for the conduct of <br />business. The members of the board shall regularly attend meetings <br />and public hearings of the board and serve without compensation. <br />(b) The board shall elect a chairperson and vice - chairperson from <br />among its members before proceeding to any other matters of <br />business during the January meeting. The board shall meet regular- <br />ly and shall designate the time and place of its meetings. <br />(c) The board shall adopt its own rules of procedure and keep a record <br />of its proceedings. Newly appointed members shall be installed at <br />the first regular meeting after their appointment. <br />(d) In order to accomplish its responsibilities, the board may establish <br />subcommittees made up of an unspecified number of community <br />volunteers. A board member must chair each subcoimnittee. <br />Section 2.
