READ:DEFERRED 3/5/18. <br />DEFERRED 3/19/18. <br />ORDINANCENO. 21 -18 BY: Anderson, Bullock, George, Litten, <br />O'Leary, O'Malley, Rader. <br />AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect and be in force at the <br />earliest period allowed by law, to approve the editing and inclusion of certain ordinances as parts <br />of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances and to provide for the publication of <br />such new matter. <br />WHEREAS, the Walter H. Diane Company has completed a revision and updating of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City; and <br />WHEREAS, various ordinances and resolutions of a general and permanent nature that <br />have been passed by Council but not yet included in the Codified Ordinances of the City have <br />now been made a part thereof, and <br />WHEREAS, as set forth in Section 2.12 of the Third Amended Charter of the City of <br />Lakewood, this Council by a vote of at least two thirds of its members determines that this <br />ordinance is an emergency measure and that it shall take effect immediately, and that it is <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of the public property, health, and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of municipal departments, in that these new code sections must be <br />in effect no later than the date the municipal income tax provisions of H.B. 49 become effective <br />by operation of law; now, therefore <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY CITY OF LAKEWOOD, OHIO: <br />Section 1. The editing, arrangement and numbering and renumbering of the following <br />ordinances and resolutions and parts of ordinances and resolutions are hereby approved as parts <br />of the various component codes of the Codified Ordinances of the City, so as to conform to the <br />classification and numbering system of the Codified Ordinances: <br />Ord.
