(b) Nothing contained in this chapter shall be construed to prohibit the use of additional parts and accessories on any vehicle not incon- sistent with the provisions of this chapter. (c) The provisions of this chapter with respect to equipment on ve- hicles do not apply to implements of husbandry, road machinery, road rollers or agricultural tractors except as made applicable to such articles of machinery. (ORC 4513.0299) SECTION 10. Section 337.09, Lights on Parked or Stopped Vehicles, of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances, currently reading as follows: 337.09 LIGHTS ON PARKED OR STOPPED VEHICLES. (a) Except in case of an emergency, whenever a vehicle is parked or stopped upon a roadway open to traffic or shoulder adja- cent thereto, whether attended or unattended during the times men- tioned in Section 337.02, such vehicle shall be equipped with one or more lights which shall exhibit a white or amber light on the road- way side visible from a distance of 500 feet to the front of such vehi- cle, and a red light visible from a distance of 500 feet to the rear. No lights need be displayed upon any such vehicle when it is stopped or parked where there is sufficient light to reveal any person or sub- stantial object within a distance of 500 feet upon such street. Any lighted headlights upon a parked vehicle shall be depressed or dimmed. (b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misde- meanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first of- fense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
