Whereas Jules Eshner was convicted in the Municipal Court of Lakewood of violating the traffic ordinance of the City and was fined ten dollars and costs, which conviction was affirmed by the Court of Appeals and which case has been carried to the Supreme Court of Ohio by said Jules EShner, in which he raises the question of the constitutionality of the traffic ordinance of the city of , Lakewppd: THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Lakewood: Section 1. That the Director of Law be and he is hereby authorized and directed to take all steps necessary to defend the City in said action and to appear before the Supreme Court on April 30, 1929 or at such other time as same may be heard in said court. Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and he is here- by authorized to pay the expenses of the Director of Law in the pros- ecution of said action and for printing briefs therefor. Section 3.
