~ l <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 3388 By - Mr. Quinn. <br /> AN EMSROENCY RESOLUTION confirming action heretofore taken <br /> and authorizing flzrther procedure before the Federal Power Commission. <br /> 9GF~REAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the usual <br /> daily gperation of a municipal department, in that any procedure taken <br /> on behalf of the City of Lakewood must be carried forward immediately, <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY IAKEWC)OD, STATE OF OHIO. <br /> $ection 1. That the action of the Director of Iaw in filing <br /> Notice of Intervention in the matter of Texas Eastern Transmission Gorp., <br /> ~ Federal Power Commission Docket No. G-1003, and related matters, are hereby <br /> approved, ratified and confirmed; and the Mayor and the Director of Law are <br /> ;j hereby authorized to take such further action ixi said cases on behalf of <br /> the City of Lakewood as they may deem necessary to be in the interest of <br /> the City and its inhabitants. <br /> Section 2. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it re- <br /> ceives the affirmative vote of twro-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br /> it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon the adoption and <br /> approval of the Mayor. <br /> Adopted Nov. 15, 19l~8.
