' RESOLUTION N0. 3411 BY: Mr. Quinn AN El~"RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City, to i authorize the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company to replace present street I lighting lamps on Warren Road from Detroit Avenue to Lakewood Heights Boulevard and on Riverside Drive from Detroit Avenue to Ogontz Avenue (the southerly city limits of -Lakewood)e WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into with the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company to supply and maintain electric street lighting in the City of Lakewood for a period of five years, pursuant to Ordinance Noe 4585s adopted i• September 15~ 1947 and, WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that in order to proceed with the inatalla- j tion of new equipment on the. streets hereinafter designated, as deemed necessary j by this Council, at as early a date as possible, immediate notice to that effect ~ must be given to the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, and in that it prnvides for the public welfare and safety and the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF IAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO:. That the Mayor be and he is hereby empowered and directed to authorize the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company to proceed as soon as possible with new street lighting as follows: i le Riverside Drive from Detroit Avenue to Ogontz Avenue (the southerly city _ ' limits of Lakewood) by the installation oP 15 10~000.lumen lamps and 52 b,ooo lumen lamps in replacement of the existing 250 candle power lights. ~ 2. Warren Rozd from Detroit Avenue to Lakewood Hei hts Boulevard _ ~ g by the installa- ~ tion of 26 100®0 lumen and 23 6000 lumen lamps in replacement of the existing =i i 250 and 1000 candle power lightse Sectioxi 2e That said installation shall be made in accordance with the said agreement now in effect between the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and the City of Lakewood and fn so far as applicable with the specifications for _ electric street lighting and the lamp location plat referred to in said agreement.
