RESOLUTION N0o 3460 BY Mr. Fahrenbach <br /> <br /> AN ENERGENCYRESOLUTION au~orizing the Mayor, as Director of Public <br />Works, to advertise for bids for the leasing and purchaSing and installation, of <br />not less than...200 nor more than 225 parking meters. <br /> <br /> ~V~S, an emergency exists in that this Council, on account of traffic <br />conditions, has established Parking Meter Zones, requiring the immediate leasing <br />and purchasing of meters to equip such zones and in order to provide for the usual <br />dai~y operation of a mnnicipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLveD BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAk~wOOD, STATE OF CHI0: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be, and he is <br />hereby authorized, to advertise for bids for the leasing and purchasing and in- <br />stallation of not less than 200 nor mere than 225 packing meters, all in <br />accordance with the specifica-~now on file in"~offmce of the Director cf <br />Public Works which specifications are hereby approvede <br /> <br /> Section 2~ This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency meas- <br />ure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, <br /> <br />Adopted:..
