AL <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MO. 346~ I~ Mr. <br /> <br /> AN F~'.E!~GENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor~ as Director off Public <br />Works, %o enter into a contract in the manner provided By law, for the purchase <br />of coal for the respective departments of the city, except the Hocpital~ for a <br />period of one year beginning Novemler 1, 1~0. <br /> <br /> ~HER~AS, an emergency exists to l~ovide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of a =mmicipal department, now, tberef~e, <br /> <br />~ IT RESOLFED ~ THE ~OUNCIL OF THE O1TY OF ~AKEWOOD, STATE OF ONIO: <br /> <br /> Seotion 1. That the Ma~or, as Direotor of Public Works, he and ha <br />is hereby authorized ~o enter into a contract in the ~nncr p~vided by law for <br />the purchase of coal for the respective departments of the ci~, except the <br />Hospital, for a period of one year ~eginnin~ November 1~ 19%0, in accordance with <br />~pecifications prepared by the Director of l~ablic ~orks, whioh are hereby a~proved. <br /> <br /> Section Z, That thio resolution is hereby declared to be an -m~-rgency <br />z~sure for the reasons stated i~ the preamble hereof and provided it receives the <br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council it sh~ll take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the ~ayor. <br /> <br />September 18~ 19~ <br /> <br />Wm.
