RESOLUTION NO. 3472 BY Mr. Ward <br /> <br /> AN ~ERGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, as Director of <br />Public Works, to advertise for bids for purchasing water meters and meter <br />parts, for a period of one (1) year from April l, 1951 to March 31, 1952. <br /> WHEREAS, au emergency exists in order to provide for the immed- <br />iate preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAK~.~OOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for purchasing water meters <br />and meter parts, for a period of one (1) year from April 1, 1951 to March <br />31, 1952, in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the <br />Director of Public Works and which are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the pream~ble hereof and pro- <br /> vided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected <br /> to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br /> adoption and approval by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: February 5, 1951. <br /> <br />Wm.
