· EESOLUTION NO. 3482 BY Mr. Vickery <br /> <br /> AN E~ERGENCY RESOLUTION authoriZing the Mayor, as Director of Public <br />S~fety, to advertise for bids for the leasing and purchasing and installation <br />of from 400 to 800 parking meterse <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that this Council, on account of <br />traffic conditions declares it necessary to establish additional parking meter <br />zones requiring the immediate leasing and purchasing of parking meters to equip <br />such zones, and, <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, ~ <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO:· <br /> <br /> Section i. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Safety~ be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the leasing and purchasing and in- <br />stallation of from 400 to 800 parking meters, all in accordance with specifi- <br />cations now on file in the office of the Director of Public Safety, which spec- <br />ifications are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2o That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval bythe <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />March 5, 1951 <br /> <br />March 5~ 1951 <br /> <br /> A.
