RESOLUTION NO. 3483 BY Mro Quinn <br /> <br /> AN~RGENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayors as Director of Public <br />Works, to proceed with the widening of the pavements in certain areas on Belle <br />and Narlowe Avenues, by direct labor with Street Department crews. <br /> <br /> WP~REAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of a municipal departments now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF ~ CITY OF LAKEV~ODs STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor, as Director of Public Workss be and he is <br />hereby authorized and directed to proceed with the widening of the pavements <br />in certain areas on Belle and ~arlowe Avenues, as follows: <br /> 1. Widening the pavement on the westerly side of Marlowe Avenue, 7 <br />feet, from a point approximately 160 feet south of Detroit Avenue to the south- <br />erly line of the property owned by the city, a distance of approximately335 <br />feet° <br /> <br /> 2. Widening the pavement on the easterly side of Belle Avenue, 12 <br />feet from a point approximately 295 feet south of Detroit Avenue to the south- <br />erlyline of the property ovmedbythe city, a.dL~tance of approximately 180 <br />feet. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this improvement be made by direct labor with Street <br />Department crews and the expense thereof paid from the Auto License and/or <br />Gasoline Tax Funds. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption andapproval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: April 2, 1951 <br /> <br />Approved: April 3, 1951 <br /> <br />Wm.
