RESOLUTION NO. 3514 BY Mr. Fairgrieve A RESOLUTION approving the acceptance of the bid of, and confirming the award of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300.00Oe00) HOSPITAL BUILDINC- AND INFROVF~ENT BONDS, to be dated March l, 1952, to Halsey, Stuart & Company, Inc. at a rate of interest of 1-3/4% per anrmUao WHEREAS, Ordinance No. h792 adopted by the Council of the City of Lake- wood on December 17, 1951 provides that the advertisement for the sale of the HOSPITAL BUILDING A~D IMPROVEMENT BONDS shall state that anyone desiring to do so may present a bid or bids for such bonds, based upon their bearing a differ- ent rate of interest than that fixed in the ordinance, and ~tEREAS, Halsey, Stuart & Company, Inc. did bid a rate of 1-3/4% per annum on the Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300~OOOe00) HOSPITAL BUILDING AND D~PROVE, ME, NT BONDS which is a differentrate of interest than specified in said ordinance and in the advertisement; now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAEEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That this Council hereby approves and accepts the bid of, and confirms the award and sale of the Three Hundred Thousand Dollars ($300,000.) HOSPITAL BUILDINGAND IMPROVEMENT BONDS to Halsey, Stuart & Company, Inc. at a rate of interest of 1-3/4% per annum, payable semi-annually, being a different rate of interest than specified in Ordinance No. 4792 and the advertisement, together with the premium included in said bid. Said resolution shall be certified to the County Auditor. Section 2. This resolution shall take effect and be in force upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor and at the earliest period allowed by law. Adopted: February 4, 1952 George F.
