RESOLUTION NO. 3518 BY Mr. Ward AN E~GENCY RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the city, to authorize the Cleveland EleCtric Illuminating Company, to replace present street lights on certain streets in the cityo WHEREAS, an agreement was entered into with the Cleveland Electric Illumi- nating Compar~ to supply and maintain electric street lighting in the City of Lakewood for a period of five years, pursuant to Ordinance Nco 4585, adopted Septem- ber 15, 1947, and, WHEREAS, an emergency exists that in order to proceed with the installation of new equipment on the streets hereinafter designated~ as deemed necessary by this Council, at as early a date as possible, immediate notice to that effect must be given to the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, and in that it p~ovides for the public welfare and safety and the usual daily operation of~a municipal depart- ment, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAEEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That said installation shall be made in accordance with said agreement now in effect between the Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and the City of Lakewood and insofar as applicable with specifications for electzic streetl lighting and lamp location plat referred to in said agreemente Section 3~ That ~his resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor~ Adopted: Approved: April 7, 1952 April 8, 1952.
