RESOLUTION NOo 3532 BY Mr. Vickery <br /> <br /> AN EI~RGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Director of Finance of the city to <br />file a Certificate of Maturity in connection with the issuance of $10,000.00 Vista <br />Street Bridge Repair Bonds. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council contemplates issuing $10,000,00 of bonds to provide <br />a fund for the purpose of repairing the Vista Street Bridge~ and, <br /> <br /> ¥~qEB~AM, Sections 2293-2 and 2293-10 of the General Code of Ohio, require <br />the fiscal officer of the city to certify to this Council the estimated life of <br />the property, asset or improvement proposed to be acquired or constructed from the <br />proceeds of said bonds and also certify to this Council the maximum maturity of such <br />bonds calculated in accordance with the provisions of Section 2293-9 of the General <br />Code, including the weighted average of the amount proposed to be expended, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of the City of <br />Lakewood, as defined by Section 2293-1 of the General Code; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the immediate preser- <br />vation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department~ now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE tT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section l~ That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby requested to <br /> certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of such improve- <br /> ment and the maximum maturity of said bends, together with such other information <br /> as may be required by law. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
