RESOLUTION NOo 3532 BY Mr. Vickery AN EI~RGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Director of Finance of the city to file a Certificate of Maturity in connection with the issuance of $10,000.00 Vista Street Bridge Repair Bonds. WHEREAS, this Council contemplates issuing $10,000,00 of bonds to provide a fund for the purpose of repairing the Vista Street Bridge~ and, ¥~qEB~AM, Sections 2293-2 and 2293-10 of the General Code of Ohio, require the fiscal officer of the city to certify to this Council the estimated life of the property, asset or improvement proposed to be acquired or constructed from the proceeds of said bonds and also certify to this Council the maximum maturity of such bonds calculated in accordance with the provisions of Section 2293-9 of the General Code, including the weighted average of the amount proposed to be expended, and, WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of the City of Lakewood, as defined by Section 2293-1 of the General Code; and, WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the immediate preser- vation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department~ now, therefore, BE tT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE ~ITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section l~ That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby requested to certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of such improve- ment and the maximum maturity of said bends, together with such other information as may be required by law. Section 2. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected-to Council~ it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, Adopted: December 1, 1952 George Fo Quinn President Approved: December 2, 1952 A, I.
