Fahrenbach <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Director of Finance to certify to <br /> this Council the maxim+m maturity of bends in the amount of Sixty Thousand Dollars <br /> 060,000.00) proposed to be issued for the purpose of constructing a fireproof <br /> public swimming pool, ehaaging the line of roads in connection therewith, the pur- <br /> Chase of furniture and furnishings, playground apparatus, landscape planting, <br /> black topping, tiling, fencing the area and replacing and installing water service <br /> facilities, together with an estimate of the 7.iY'e oY said improvement. <br /> j <br /> } this Council contemplates issuing Sixty Thousand Dollars <br /> 060,000.00) of Swimming Pool Bonds from the proceeds of which Forty Thousand <br /> Dollars (~l~0,000.00) is to bs need for the construction of a fireproof public <br /> swimming pool and changing the line of roads 1n eonneation therewith, Ten Thousand <br /> Aollars ($10,000,00) is to be need fns tho purchase of furniture and furnishings, <br /> Playground apparatus and landscape plautiag, and Tan Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) <br /> for black topping, tiling and fencing the area, and replacing and installing rater <br /> service facilities, ,and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2293-2 and 2293x.0 of the General Code require the fiscal <br /> officer of the City to certify to this Council the estimated life of the improvement <br /> proposed La be constructed from the proceeds of said bonds and also to certify to <br /> this Council the maximum maturity of such bonds calculated iti accordance with pro- <br /> visions of Section 2293-9 of the General Code, including tho weighted average of <br /> the amounts proposed to bs expended for said different classes of improvsment~ and <br /> Y9HERE9S, the Director of Finance is the fiscal officer of the Gity of <br /> Lakewood, as defined in Section 2293-1 of the General Code, and <br /> WIIEIfGAS, an emergency exists in that the amount of bonds heretofore <br /> authorized will be insufficient to proceed with the construction of the swimming <br /> pool a8 originally planned] in that this Council considers. the issuance of addi- <br /> tional bonds is immediately necessary i.ri order to proceed with such improvement] <br /> and in order to provide for the public health, welfare and safety and the usual <br /> +y,. daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> BE I.T RESOLBED BY THE COUNCIL THE CI2Y OF I~AKEP900D, STATT OF OHIOt <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance bs and he is hereby requested <br /> to certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of such im- <br /> j provement and the maximum maturity oY such bonds with such other information as <br /> k may be required by law• <br /> <br /> :a <br /> i <br /> Section 2.
