_ <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 3575 BY Mro Gottermeyer <br /> AN EMERGENCY RESOLUTION requesting the Director of Finance to file a <br /> Certificate of maturity in connection with the issuance of X300,000,00 City Portion - <br /> Sewer Improvement Bondsa <br /> WHEREAS, this Council contemplates issuing ~300,000o00 of bonds for the <br /> purpose of paying the Gityts portion of the coat and expense of constructing, re- <br /> constructing or repairing sanitary and storm sewers; and <br /> WHEREAS, Sections 133•x. end 133e24 of the Revised Code require the fiscal <br /> officer of the City to certify to this Council the estimated life of the property, <br /> asset or improvement, proposed to be acquired or constructed from the proceeds of <br /> said bonds and also certify to this Council the maximwn maturity of such bonds, <br /> calculated in acaordanae wlth the provisions of Section 133,20 of the Revised <br /> <br /> a~~ Code, including the weighted average of the amount proposed to be expended for <br /> ,,,4.a this 9,mprovement, and <br /> WHER.EAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br /> Fi of the public property, health and safety and the usual daily operation of a <br /> municipal department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is the Yiscal officer of the City ae <br /> p~ defined by Section 133001 of the Revised Code; now, therefore, <br /> ~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOODa STATE OF OHIOi <br /> a,", Section to That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby requested <br /> to certify to this Council his conclusions as to the estimated life of such im- <br /> provement and the maximum maturity of such bonds, with such other information as <br /> is required by law. <br /> Section 2e That this resolution is hereby declared to b® an emergency <br /> measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives <br /> the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br /> take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br /> Ma,4ore <br /> Adopted2 October 5. 1953 George Fe Rninn <br /> President <br /> Ho Ao Reea <br /> Clerk <br /> ' Approved: October 6..1953 <br /> Ao Io Kauffman <br /> _ Mayor <br /> <br />
